Background and reasons
LifeClean develops, manufactures and markets environmentally friendly disinfection and sanitation solutions and sustainable premium cleaning products. The company's strategy is to enter into long-term agreements with major strategic distributors with strong networks, efficient logistics capabilities and high industry understanding. LifeClean's strategy is to establish the LifeClean brand with national and international distributors within each business area. Sales in the Nordic region are made through direct sales and a strong dealer network. Outside the Nordic region, sales are mainly conducted through contracted distributors with large networks.
LifeClean's strategy has resulted in several deals. In January 2024, LifeClean announced a new distribution deal with Arxada, a global leader in science-based specialty chemicals.
Furthermore, LifeClean has a focus area in PFAS sanitation, where the company has developed a method for PFAS removal. The demand for PFAS sanitation is in Europe, USA and Australia, where the company believes that the legislation is at the forefront. LifeClean believes that there is a large global need, in several industries, for PFAS sanitation. The company has received several orders for the proprietary method for PFAS sanitation and believes that there is great potential for this business segment. Another major advance in PFAS occurred in February 2024 when LifeClean signed a distribution agreement with the world's fourth largest player in recycling, the German company Remondis Group. Remondis Group has 42,000 employees in 34 countries and is present at more than 1,000 locations.
The company is also active in the field of Food & Primary Industry. LifeClean has measured remarkable field data results in the Norwegian poultry sector where the result was a radical reduction in mortality of chickens by approximately 50%. In addition, the number of days for cleaning and disinfection of the facility was reduced from 7-11 days to 3 days. The company identifies several opportunities to improve conditions for the poultry sector. The company recognizes a clear interest in the market where LifeClean has a strong business case that also creates sustainable impact and improved food supply.
Together with the other solutions in LifeClean's offering, the company believes it has a good opportunity to meet the market demand for environmentally suitable disinfection solutions and sustainable premium cleaning products in several areas, which is constantly growing. The company meets market demand through production in facilities in Uddevalla and Vadstena, where production is scalable. Production modules can also be set up within six months at new strategic locations.
